Description:

This internship is part of the Fall 2024 Professional Internship Program. To be eligible for the program you must:

  • Be enrolled as an SUU student during the course of the internship.
  • Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Be willing to work 10 to 20 hours per week.
  • Provide thoughtful responses in your application.

The intern will:

  • Write multiple SUU to Everywhere pieces that will highlight alumni and the great things each are doing in their careers.
  • Be able to strengthen writing skills, develop critical thinking skills, and have opportunities to hone editing skills. These spotlights will be published online, and will be distributed in our monthly enews, which is sent to 41,000+ alumni, and will be published on social media.
  • Have the opportunity to write at least one press release that will be published that will appear in our enews, and will be sent to SUU Marketing Comm for published on the SUU website, and it will be sent to Iron County Today.
  • Provide social media support as needed.
